The TouchLite is the latest
in hand held interface innovation from Transtech Systems. This device
is packed with features that make it a "drop in" solution
for a wide variety of applications. A number of display options
are avaliable including a full color 640 x 480 TFT. All displays
employ Touch Screen technology making the Man/Machine interface
possibilities almost limitless.
The TouchLite offers a wide varity of interface capabilities, including
2 serial ports, one of which is user configurable for RS-232, RS-422
or RS-485. Also available is an IrDA interface with front and rear
facing sensors, a 10base-T network connection, and two PCMCIA slots,
which can accommodate virtually any type of PCMCIA card currently
avaliable including Version 1,2 - Type I, II or III (some limitations
may apply) . Optional SoundBlaster® audio compatibility allows
the TouchLite to be used as a multimedia device, which can employ
audio as well as visual feedback to the user. The TouchLite is line
powered at (12 - 18 VDC). The Multi Port Adapter provides a cost
effective solution for custom applications.
With all this plus a variety of memory and mass storage configurations,
the TouchLite offers a level of versatility and rugged dependability
you have come to expect from Transtech Systems products.
