Integrated SVGA and Video Frame Grabber
FlashPoint Intrigue Pro combines a high-performance Windows 95/98 & NT SVGA accelerator card with a video frame grabber, resulting in a single-slot solution.

Unparalleled Video Capture Quality
FlashPoint Intrigue Pro offers unparalleled RGB colour, NTSC / PAL composite colour and monochrome RS-170/CCIR video capture on the same board with extremely low pixel jitter (less than 4 nsec.). True 24 bpp RGB colour capture and input LUTs on RS170/CCIR inputs offer maximum video control and quality.

Nondestructive Colour Key Overlay
FlashPoint Intrigue Pro supports nondestructive overlay of text and graphics on live video. This allows static or moving crosshairs, selector boxes and other objects to be displayed on live video while the underlying video is cleanly captured or displayed.

Video Output
FlashPoint Intrigue Pro offers RGB, S-video and Composite video output in both NTSC and PAL formats. Video output is software selectable from the entire SVGA screen, a region of interest or just the live video window. Support is included for 2x pan and zoom control.

Independent Video & Graphics Control
FlashPoint Intrigue Pro allows for different colour depth settings between the SVGA desktop and the live video windows, resulting in maximum memory usage and application speed. The live video window can be scaled up to full desktop size (maximum 1280 x 1024).

Multiple Video Inputs
FlashPoint Intrigue Pro allows for the connection of up to six composite, three S-video, one RS170/CCIR and one RGB input.

Extensive Camera and I/O Control
FlashPoint Intrigue Pro has an optically isolated trigger for flash units, and TTL input and output triggers for camera and remote capture control. Long-term exposure, 12 VDC camera power (software resettable and on/off), integrated serial port for camera and iris control allow for all aspects of camera power, triggering and lens control.

Microcontroller Precision
FlashPoint Intrigue Pro incorporates an on-board microcontroller for precise synchronization, triggering or serial I/O control. The microcontroller relieves the host CPU of servicing interrupts or counting sync and enables hardware video capture with no CPU intervention.

Extensive Software Support
Support for all major operating systems and interfaces is included, as well as the FlashPoint FPG video capture and camera control application. An optional Software Developers Kit, filled with sample applications and source code, enables complete control and customization of the board.

FlashPoint Intrigue Pro enjoys wide industry software support. In addition to full-featured TWAIN, AVI and MCI drivers, the Intrigue boards are directly supported by a wide range of third-party software applications like Image Pro Plus and Optimas from Media Cybernetics, X-Caliper from Flir Systems, Vision Blox from Integral Vision, HL Image from Western Vision and many others.
